About the role#
As an Engineering Services Intern, you will provide program level support for FAA projects. You will work across multiple campuses to assist with material disposition, record archiving, and database updates. This role operates on a 4/10 schedule, meaning you will work 10-hour days, 4 days a week.
What you'll do#
- Collect and input data to maintain accurate records, baselines, and system sustainment.
- Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements to workflows and procedures.
- Maintain critical lab spares and analyze minimum quantity levels.
- Support supply operations, including cataloging, receiving, distributing, and replenishing materials.
- Develop optimization techniques to improve the layout, inventory, and control of FAA assets.
- Review and update ILS procedures, operating instructions, and check lists for accuracy.
- Enter data to ensure new materials are registered and warranty information is captured.
- Develop and analyze metrics related to repairs and shipments.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
