About the role#
The Contracts Intern supports the full contract lifecycle for government, commercial, and international programs. You will work with internal program teams to manage proposal development, contract administration, and business processes. This role requires adherence to company policies, customer requirements, and government regulations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with proposal development and general contract management processes.
- Enter contract funding into PeopleSoft and track program performance metrics.
- Provide guidance to internal program teams to help solve complex problems.
- Analyze business and contractual risks and develop mitigation tactics.
- Prepare, review, negotiate, and execute contracts including prices and special provisions.
- Identify subcontract flow-down clauses and perform risk assessments.
- Ensure all work complies with government regulations and corporate policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program.
- Preferred majors include Finance, Management, Business, Economics, or Supply Chain Management.
- Strong analytical skills and business judgment.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Camden, New Jersey.
- This is an on-site, full-time internship.
- The schedule follows a 9/80 format, meaning you work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
- This is a paid position.
