About the role#
The L'Oréal USA Summer Internship is a paid, 11-week program designed to integrate you into daily team operations. You will lead an individual strategic project and present your findings to senior leadership at the end of the summer. This role offers the opportunity to be considered for a full-time return offer into the Management Trainee program. You will be paired with a mentor and a buddy to support your professional growth throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Own an individual project with strategic business impact and present it to senior leaders.
- Analyze data, identify root causes, and recommend solutions for HR-related business issues.
- Perform hands-on HR generalist tasks using multiple HRIS and reporting systems.
- Follow up and solicit feedback from employees with a customer service orientation.
- Engage teams in sharing best HR practices.
- Network across multiple functions including Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, R&I, and Sales.
- Participate in formal and informal training opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year college or university.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and July 2028.
- Ability to start full-time employment in September 2028 upon graduation.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis. Please note that no immigration support or sponsorship is provided for this role.
- Willingness to relocate to any USA-based office with an internship opening.
Location & details#
- Locations: New York, New York and New Jersey.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
- Compensation: $27-$30 per hour, depending on factors including geographic location.
