About the role#
The Human Resources Administrative Intern supports the HR team by maintaining the integrity and organization of employee records. You will focus on compliance, data accuracy, and document management. This role is for someone who enjoys structured environments and handles sensitive information with discretion.
What you'll do#
- Audit employee personnel files to ensure all documentation is present, current, and filed correctly.
- Standardize electronic employee folders within HRIS and shared drives.
- Prepare new hire documentation and verify file completeness for onboarding.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, reporting, and document preparation.
- Update HR templates, checklists, and standard operating procedures.
- Support office logistics and organize materials to assist HR team activities.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or recent completion of a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for tracking and auditing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- A self-motivated and proactive approach to solving problems.
