About the role#
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Intern to support our HR team in New York City. This full-time, paid internship offers hands-on experience with the daily operations of an HR department. It is a suitable position for those looking to start a career in recruiting or human resources.
What you'll do#
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate reviews.
- Source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Screen internship candidates and share recommendations with the Talent Acquisition team.
- Manage candidate communication regarding interview logistics and next steps.
- Maintain job postings on Greenhouse and LinkedIn.
- Track candidate progress and update recruitment data.
- Support pre-onboarding tasks like background checks and new hire documentation.
- Submit and track IT requests for equipment and system access.
- Handle administrative tasks to support the Talent Acquisition team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
- Strong interest in recruiting and HR operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Prior office or internship experience is a plus.

- Commitment: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: $18 to $21 per hour.
