About the role#
The Marketing Department at Kwik Trip, Inc. is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join the Creative Services team. This role offers hands-on experience supporting brand, marketing, and communication initiatives across the organization. You will assist with the development and production of creative materials that support marketing campaigns, internal communications, retail environments, and brand-building efforts.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Creative Services team with the design and production of marketing materials across multiple channels.
- Design and update materials for internal communications, including employee announcements, presentations, and digital signage.
- Support the creation and production of environmental graphics for stores, corporate facilities, events, and trade shows.
- Perform photo editing and retouching tasks, such as color correction, image cleanup, background removal, and compositing.
- Prepare production-ready artwork and files for both print and digital applications.
- Manage digital assets and maintain organization within company file systems.
- Create mockups and presentation materials to support campaign development.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Photography, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop for image editing, retouching, and asset preparation.
- Understanding of core design principles, including typography, color theory, layout, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Location & details#
- This position is located in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
- This is an on-site, paid, full-time internship.
- The term is rolling, with an expected duration of approximately 8 months.
- Students must be available to work up to 20 hours per week during the academic semester, with the potential for up to 40 hours per week during school breaks.
