About the role#
The Industrial Design Internship at Munchkin offers hands-on experience in the consumer products industry. You will work within our creative Product Design Team in Van Nuys, California, on real products that appear in retail stores.
What you'll do#
- Generate concepts, solve design problems, and style new products.
- Create quick sketches and physical mockups.
- Develop 3D models for new product concepts.
- Prepare presentation boards to communicate your ideas.
- Correspond with overseas operations to support the development process.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop, SolidWorks, and Keyshot.
- Knowledge of User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) principles.
- Experience in product development involving integrated technology or IoT.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with people at all levels.
- Current enrollment in an Industrial Design program.
