About the role#
KSM is hiring a Tax Intern for the Winter 2028 term in Chicago. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship. You will perform the duties of a first-year associate accountant while gaining practical experience in public accounting. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience by applying accounting theories to real work engagements.
- Participate in intern orientation and technical training programs.
- Learn from experienced Associates, Seniors, Managers, and Partners.
- Work directly with a variety of clients across multiple industries, from start-ups to multi-national corporations.
- Collaborate with peers and build professional relationships.
What you'll need#
- Working towards an Undergraduate or Master's Degree in Business or Accounting.
- On track for CPA eligibility upon graduation.
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
