About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Summer 2027 internship based in Los Angeles. You will join a team focused on various tax specialty areas, including corporate and individual taxation, mergers and acquisitions, pass-through entities, and private client services.
What you'll do#
- Prepare federal and state and local tax returns.
- Conduct tax planning and research.
- Gain an understanding of tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.
- Assist with accounting for income taxes, accounting methods, and federal credits.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting.
- You have completed at least 90 credit hours.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- You have strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You can work effectively on a team and manage multiple tasks.
- You have access to reliable transportation for travel to client locations.
