About the role#
Blue & Co., LLC is hiring interns for our Tax, Audit, and Healthcare Reimbursement teams for the Winter 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship. You will work directly with client service teams, receive feedback from mentors, and collaborate with leadership.
What you'll do#
- Assist with audits and reviews.
- Prepare basic financial statements and schedules for clients.
- Prepare standard and complex tax returns, including 1040, S-Corp, C-Corp, Partnerships, 941, and 1099.
- Conduct tax research projects.
- Assist with Medicaid and Medicare cost report analysis.
- Perform analysis for mergers, acquisitions, litigation, ESOPs, and estate or succession planning.
- Develop a business advisor perspective by understanding how transactions impact financial statements.
What you'll need#
- Current major in Accounting or Finance with a minimum GPA of 3.2.
- On track to meet requirements for the CPA exam.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to ask questions.
- Availability to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, and to travel as necessary.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not provide visa sponsorship.
