About the role#
As a Technology Risk Consulting Intern, you will work with businesses across various industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, financial institutions, and private equity. You will receive hands-on experience and direct access to business owners and executive management. To support your growth, you will be assigned a Performance Advisor at the start of the program.
What you'll do#
- Learn about client needs, industry standards, and internal accounting systems.
- Assist in the design and optimization of controls by applying your knowledge of business processes and information technology.
- Use critical thinking to identify internal control deficiencies, evaluate risks, and advise clients on solutions.
- Create internal control documentation to support client engagements.
- Engage with client leadership to discuss strategies for emerging technology risks.
- Participate in projects such as Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, SOC reporting, IT controls testing, and internal audits over ERP and security systems.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited university.
- A major in Accounting, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and multi-tasking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- High degree of integrity and professionalism.
- Access to reliable transportation for travel to client sites.
