About the role#
As a Pharmacy Graduate Intern, you will support the pharmacy department in delivering safe and accurate prescription services. This role involves assisting the department manager with daily production goals and maintaining quality assurance standards. You will help create a professional environment for both staff and patients while upholding company values.
What you'll do#
- Enter patient information into the computer system with accuracy and efficiency.
- Count and prepare medications following company best practices.
- Fulfill prescriptions in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct production audits and maintain accurate records of prescription volume.
- Keep your workstation clean and organized.
- Promote safety by following procedures, reporting risks, and notifying management of any unsafe conditions or equipment needing repair.
- Support team members by answering questions and maintaining a professional, positive tone.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy School.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum age of 18.
- NABPLEx eligibility within 90 days of your hire date.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to protect sensitive information.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills including counting, addition, and subtraction.
- Ability to handle stressful situations.

- Location: Mesquite, Texas.
- This is an on-site, paid, full-time internship position with a rolling term.
