About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Pharmacy Intern position based in Thornton, Colorado. You will work on-site in a retail pharmacy setting, supporting the pharmacy team to ensure accurate medication dispensing and excellent customer service.
What you'll do#
- Provide drug counseling to customers.
- Accurately input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
- Dispense the correct medication.
- Provide immunizations under the supervision of the pharmacist.
- Process third party insurance information for customers.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a US school of pharmacy.
- A current state-issued Pharmacy Intern license.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
