About the role#
This is a paid internship for pharmacy students looking to gain practical experience in a retail setting. You will work on-site under the guidance of a registered pharmacist or preceptor. The role focuses on patient care, clinical services, and pharmacy operations. We offer visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.
What you'll do#
- Perform all tasks under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Process prescriptions while following all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide advice and consultation to customers and healthcare professionals on drug therapy and health products.
- Participate in clinical services such as immunizations, vaccinations, and disease state management.
- Help implement store initiatives to improve pharmacy operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A valid state intern license if required by Montana law.
- Ability to work as part of a team and cooperate with others.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work priorities.
