About the role#
This is a part-time internship for pharmacy students looking to gain hands-on experience in a retail setting. You will work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or a designated preceptor to support our pharmacy operations. This role is on-site in Mesa, Arizona, with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Fill prescriptions while following all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Consult with customers and health care professionals about drug therapy and health products.
- Participate in clinical services, including immunizations, vaccinations, and disease state management.
- Help implement company initiatives to support pharmacy profitability.
- Perform all tasks under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A valid state intern license, if required by Arizona.
- Ability to work well within a team and cooperate with others.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work priorities.
