About the role#
As a Pharmacy Student Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will work under the guidance of a registered pharmacist or preceptor to develop your clinical skills while supporting patient care. This is a part-time, on-site role that offers the opportunity to practice in a setting focused on building relationships with patients.
What you'll do#
- Perform pharmacy duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or preceptor.
- Manage the prescription filling process in compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide consultation to customers and health care professionals regarding drug therapy, prescription knowledge, and health products.
- Participate in clinical services, including immunizations, vaccinations, and disease state management.
- Help implement company initiatives to support pharmacy operations and profitability.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A valid state intern license, if required by the state of employment.
- Ability to adapt to changes in work priorities and schedules.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to cooperate with others.

- Location: Los Lunas, New Mexico.
- This is a paid, part-time internship.
