About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will support the department manager in meeting daily production goals and monitoring quality assurance standards. You will help create a safe environment for both the provider and technical teams while demonstrating core values of respect, honesty, and integrity.
What you'll do#
- Enter patient information into the computer system with accuracy.
- Count and prepare products according to company best practices.
- Fulfill prescriptions in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain records on prescription volume and perform production audits.
- Follow staging procedures and keep your work station clean.
- Support a welcoming environment by answering questions for other associates.
- Practice preventive maintenance on equipment and report any necessary repairs.
- Identify and report safety risks, including theft, fraud, or unsafe conditions.
- Notify management of any employee accidents or near misses.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy School.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- NABPLEx eligibility within 90 days of hire.
- Basic math skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and a commitment to protecting sensitive information.
- Previous pharmacy experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in a second language is helpful.

- This is a full-time, paid position based in Nashville, Tennessee.
- The role is on-site and follows a rolling term.
