About the role#
We are hiring a Pharmacy Student Intern to join our team in Peoria. This is a paid, full-time position with rolling start dates. We offer sponsorship for eligible candidates. You will work on-site under the guidance of a registered pharmacist or preceptor to gain practical experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
What you'll do#
- Perform all pharmacy duties under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Process and fill prescriptions in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Consult with customers and health care professionals about drug therapy, prescription knowledge, and health products.
- Participate in clinical services, including immunizations, vaccinations, point of care testing, and disease state management.
- Support store initiatives to improve pharmacy profitability.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A valid state intern license, if required by Arizona law.
- The ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities based on business needs.
