About the role#
KPMG is seeking a Deal Advisory Intern to join the Financial Due Diligence practice for Summer 2027. This internship provides hands-on experience in transaction advisory, working with internal teams to support buy-side and sell-side engagements for private equity investors and large corporate clients.
What you'll do#
- Assist team members with financial due diligence tasks.
- Analyze data from target companies to identify performance trends and operating patterns.
- Perform financial analysis including quality of earnings, net working capital, debt considerations, and financial position.
- Help design and write client-tailored reports that address valuation models, synergies, and accounting or tax implications.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelors or Masters of Accountancy.
- Progress toward educational requirements for CPA licensure in the state where the office is located.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency with MS Office and an ability to learn new technologies, including AI tools.
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This position involves a mix of office work, client site visits, and remote work. You must reside within a commutable distance of the office and provide your own transportation to client sites. You must be located within the U.S. when working remotely.
