About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in food manufacturing within the confectionary industry. You will work alongside our operations, engineering, quality, and regulatory teams to support production and maintain product standards. This position is a full-time, paid role based in Perham, Minnesota, for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support production operations and address issues as they occur.
- Investigate and resolve product quality concerns.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Develop POKA training content.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality processes for new fruit extrusion products.
- Build an understanding of cross-functional and interdepartmental problem-solving.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as at least a Junior in college pursuing a degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or a related field.
- Ability to commit to a 10-12 week program during the summer of 2027.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere.
