About the role#
KLN Family Brands is seeking an Operations Planning Intern for the summer of 2027. This full-time, paid position is based at our manufacturing facility in Perham, Minnesota. You will work alongside our Operations Planning Manager and the broader operations team to support our confectionary production.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and evaluate current routing processes.
- Review and assess scheduling sequences to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze historical and current customer minimum requirements.
- Collaborate with the sampling team to identify trends, gain operational insight, and improve processes.
- Automate sample requests and shipping.
- Evaluate and refine customer minimum requirements.
- Optimize routing strategies to improve utility, efficiency, and resource utilization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Ability to dedicate 10-12 weeks to the internship program during the summer of 2027.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
