About the role#
Join us in Bentonville, Arkansas, for a Summer 2027 internship. This role focuses on supply chain and sales analysis within our manufacturing operations. You will gain hands-on experience through training while working alongside our Demand and Supply Planning teams. The internship concludes with a final presentation on your experience and project work.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Operations, Customer Service, and Sales to develop tools for supply chain success.
- Manage item-level forecasts using customer data, sales history, and trend analysis.
- Lead initiatives using applied statistics to measure forecast and production performance.
- Review and adjust production plans based on changes in sales forecasts or manufacturing schedules.
- Act as a liaison between Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, and Project Management to troubleshoot issues.
- Develop inventory and demand planning models using data analytics.
- Create ad-hoc reports from large data sets using Excel and Power BI.
- Assist in expediting production or inventory receipts to support order fulfillment.
- Gain exposure to SAP APO/ECC and data warehousing systems.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial).
- Junior or Senior status in your degree program.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A team-oriented mindset and the ability to adapt to a changing work environment.
- Capacity to learn new tools and processes quickly.
