About the role#
AJM Packaging Corporation is hiring an Operations Intern to join our manufacturing team in El Cajon, California. This is a full-time, paid position that offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility. You will work directly with our engineering and operations teams to gain practical knowledge of machine rebuilds and project engineering.
What you'll do#
- Learn and perform functions related to the engineering operation of a manufacturing plant.
- Participate in a project-based program focused on machine maintenance and process improvement.
- Shadow employees across various departments to understand daily operations.
- Perform tasks ranging from production line work to scheduling.
- Take ownership of specific special projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.

- This role is based on-site in El Cajon, California.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
