About the role#
This full-time summer internship is a minimum 10-week assignment based in Bettendorf, Iowa. You will join the Sales and Operation Planning team to support strategic initiatives focused on customer on-time delivery, supply chain visibility, and order fulfillment. You will work alongside supply chain, operations, and commercial teams to analyze business data and implement improvements. Each intern is paired with a manager and a mentor to support professional growth. The role includes opportunities to participate in the Intern Presentation Challenge, plant tours, and leadership sessions.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of a data capture process for on-time delivery misses, including the use of standardized reason codes.
- Analyze delivery data to identify major causes, trends, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Co-facilitate Kaizen events to investigate and drive improvements in targeted areas.
- Document findings, recommendations, and process improvements.
- Present project results and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Expected graduation date between August 2027 and May 2028.
- Previous internship, co-op, research, or work experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, analytics, or manufacturing.
- Experience using Excel, Power BI, or similar data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.
- Participation in extracurricular activities, student organizations, leadership roles, or community service.
- Interest in supply chain optimization, customer service, and continuous improvement.
