About the role#
We are looking for a Financial Accounting Intern to join our Corporate Financial Accounting team in Pittsburgh. You will help us evaluate complex accounting issues, consolidate financial statements, and analyze results for our reporting entity and subsidiaries. This role introduces you to our monthly closing process, financial policy reviews, and transaction accounting.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the preparation and review of external financial filings.
- Analyze monthly financial results and summarize findings for senior management review.
- Prepare ad hoc analysis to support Corporate Financial Accounting projects.
- Maintain and update the Arconic accounting policy manual for financial and nonfinancial personnel.
- Manage ongoing relationships with staff across our Business Units and Resource Units.
What you'll need#
- You are pursuing a bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited institution.
- You have an expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring/Summer of 2028.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, along with general expertise in MS Office.
