About the role#
Arconic is hiring a Health and Safety intern to join our corporate EHS team. This is a paid, full-time internship based in Davenport, Iowa. You will work on-site to assist with industrial hygiene and health and safety initiatives while gaining experience in a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist with industrial hygiene and global health and safety initiatives.
- Design, improve, and run management systems that connect people, products, and places.
- Take ownership of projects and work closely with teams to solve real-world challenges.
- Attend orientation and receive area-specific training to support your success.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Occupational and Environmental Health Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related EHS discipline.
- Expected graduation date in late Fall 2027, Spring/Summer 2028, or Spring/Summer 2029.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available.
