About the role#
Arconic is hiring an IT Infrastructure Observability Intern to join our team in Bettendorf, Iowa. This role focuses on monitoring the health and performance of our IT systems. You will work on real-world projects, learn new toolsets, and contribute to the efficiency of our infrastructure operations.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain infrastructure health dashboards using visualization tools.
- Work with metrics and monitoring data to support log collection.
- Define thresholds to track the current state of infrastructure solutions.
- Document your dashboard and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with IT teams to gather requirements and demo your progress.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a similar IS/IT field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- An expected graduation date in Fall 2027, Spring/Summer 2028, or Spring/Summer 2029.
- A basic understanding of servers, databases, networking, and IT infrastructure technologies.
- Ability to work on-site in Bettendorf, Iowa.
- U.S. person status as required by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
