About the role#
As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will work directly with our manufacturing team in Mansfield. You will tackle real business challenges, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to our operational goals. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Improve manufacturing processes and organize the shop floor.
- Create standard work procedures and document manufacturing setups.
- Post visual controls to support production.
- Analyze manufacturing issues to find root causes and define corrective actions.
- Gather insights from products and consumers to provide recommendations.
- Assist the team with building products.
- Perform other tasks as needed to support the manufacturing department.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate Engineering degree program.
- Strong skills with PC and business office software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in groups and interact with people at all levels.
- Capacity to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks like walking, standing, or reaching.
