About the role#
As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you will support our product engineering team. You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to project goals and helping the team meet deadlines. This role provides a practical look at engineering work that you can apply to your current studies.
What you'll do#
- Assist the team with electrical testing and validation of products.
- Compile test results into comprehensive reports.
- Analyze data to recommend product improvements.
- Design and build prototypes and test fixtures.
- Provide general project support and feedback.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate program pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team and interact with all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage confidential information and prioritize tasks.
- Reliable follow-up skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Lincolnshire, Illinois.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $28 per hour.
- Physical requirements include the ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, as well as standing, walking, or sitting for periods of time.
