About the role#
As a Human Resources Intern, you will work alongside our HR team on projects that support company goals and initiatives. This position offers you real-world business experience and helps you build skills that apply to your academic studies.
What you'll do#
- Handle sensitive and confidential information while ensuring its security through established procedures.
- Compile reports and analyze data from various sources on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
- Create and maintain files, records, and business correspondence.
- Prepare, type, and edit documents based on general directions.
- Screen and direct phone calls and written communications.
- Research project-related data and provide status updates on open issues.
- Operate office equipment including printers, phones, and fax machines.
- Complete special assignments as required.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma and current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate program.
- Knowledge of PC and business office software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with proper phone etiquette.
- Ability to work effectively in a group and interact with people at all levels of the organization.
- Capacity to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent follow-through.
- Ability to shift priorities as needed.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship located in Mansfield, Texas.
- The role is offered on a rolling basis.
- Physical requirements include the ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds and perform tasks such as standing, walking, or reaching.
