About the role#
The Supply Chain Intern will work under the direction of senior personnel to support the supply chain team. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in a corporate environment through hands-on involvement in daily operations and projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform data entry and maintain databases.
- Support daily transactions and documentation for supply chain operations.
- Interact with internal and external customers and suppliers to answer requests.
- Maintain inventory, product, and supplier information within ERP and vendor management systems.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Assist with project management tasks related to cost savings, supplier reviews, and new product development.
- Research data for assigned projects and escalate complex issues to management.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate program.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and projects.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
