About the role#
The Mechanical Engineer Intern assists the new product development team by providing project support and technical feedback. You will gain engineering experience by working on 3D printing, product testing, and prototype design. This role involves collaborating with the manufacturing team to suggest process improvements.
What you'll do#
- Create and post-process 3D prints for team review.
- Design and build prototypes and test fixtures.
- Modify or create basic engineering models and prints.
- Submit products to the test lab and conduct performance testing.
- Analyze test data and provide recommendations based on results.
- Partner with manufacturing staff to suggest process improvements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate engineering program.
- Proficiency with computers and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Capacity to handle confidential information.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow up on project requirements.

- Compensation: $28 per hour.
