About the role#
Kitware is seeking a Computer Vision Co-Op to join our team in Clifton Park, New York. This role focuses on research, open science, and computing to create positive social impact. You will work on complex problems alongside a team of engineers and researchers. This is a 6-month internship with the potential to extend to 8 months.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to high-level projects involving Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.
- Participate in project planning and execution cycles.
- Attend regular sprint meetings to coordinate with teammates and resolve technical issues.
- Support the development of software solutions for image and video analysis.
What you'll need#
- You must be a Junior or Senior currently working toward a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python programming.
- Knowledge or experience in computer vision or deep learning.
- Due to contractual requirements, this position is open only to U.S. citizens.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position based in Clifton Park, New York.
- You are expected to work from the office 5 days per week.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling start date.
