About the role#
As a Quality Intern, you will work on project-based assignments at our corporate office. You will report to the Quality team and assist with day-to-day department activities. This role is data-entry intensive and focuses on manufacturing process system improvements. You will gain experience with foundry-related improvement projects, cost reduction, and implementation tasks.
What you'll do#
- Update raw material standards.
- Develop PFMEA documentation.
- Collect production and quality data as needed.
- Execute continuous improvement projects across all departments.
- Create standardized processes, procedures, and work instructions.
- Improve product handling and process flows.
- Use Excel programming to automate data entry and collection tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited college or university.
- A major in Business Administration, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Completion of your freshman year of study.
- A minimum G.P.A. of 2.75/4.0.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test if you reach the final stage of consideration.
