About the role#
We are hiring an Electrical Engineering Intern for our office in Austin, Texas. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position for the Summer 2026 term. You will work directly with our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team on various projects, including work for airports, universities, and other facilities.
What you'll do#
- Use technical software to analyze, produce, and quality-check project deliverables.
- Support the team with HVAC design tasks.
- Assist project managers and work across different disciplines to meet project goals.
- Handle general mechanical engineering tasks as needed.
- Learn federal, state, and local regulations along with our internal project standards.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- You have experience using technical software programs.
- You can work well with project managers and team members across different departments.
- You have strong problem-solving skills.
- You are familiar with relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
