About the role#
Nightwing is seeking interns for a Software and Hardware Engineering role. This position focuses on engineering challenges beyond standard academic curricula. You will work in small teams alongside mentors to analyze systems, understand their behavior, and develop or defeat advanced security techniques. You will gain experience in both development and reverse engineering, with tasks ranging from studying disassembly to auditing C++ code using Python.
What you'll do#
- Expand your knowledge of the specific targets under research.
- Document research results on a regular basis.
- Evaluate research outcomes to guide project direction.
- Modify research tools as needed.
- Productize successful research for delivery to customers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in a STEM field, specifically Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related area.
- Experience with software programming or hardware logic circuits.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as this role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
