About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring engineering students for our office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time, on-site internship position. You will work on pre-construction design and planning for a variety of projects.
What you'll do#
- Use technical software to analyze, produce, and quality-check project deliverables.
- Assist project managers and work with different teams to complete project goals.
- Help with pre-construction design, planning, and permitting.
- Learn federal, state, and local regulations along with company standards.
- Gain experience with discipline-specific software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, or GIS.
What you'll need#
- You must be working toward a Bachelors or Masters degree from an ABET-accredited program.
- Eligible majors include Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
