About the role#
This co-op role supports the Clinical Science team at Keros Therapeutics. You will assist with clinical trial documentation, literature reviews, data analysis, and study startup activities. The position focuses on translating TGF-signaling science into clinical therapies. You will work within a team environment to analyze scientific data and support ongoing clinical studies.
What you'll do#
- Assist with study startup processes, including vendor evaluation and selection.
- Operationalize biomarker and exploratory endpoint strategies.
- Develop study-specific scientific plans or manuals.
- Perform, synthesize, and present literature reviews on competitive landscapes, therapeutic approaches, and mechanistic biology.
- Support the scientific review, trend analysis, and interpretation of clinical, safety, and biomarker data.
- Build and maintain clinical data review tools and data visualization dashboards.
- Collaborate with data management, biostatistics, clinical operations, and research teams to support clinical protocol design.
- Ensure data consistency and minimize data variability.
- Participate in scientific project teams and vendor meetings.
- Prepare clinical science deliverables such as scientific presentations, draft abstracts, posters, and clinical study report components.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biology, pharmacology, clinical science, or a related life sciences field.
- A strong interest in TGF-signaling pathway science.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive scientific literature reviews.
- Skill in analyzing complex clinical datasets and interpreting biomarker findings.
- Strong accountability and a sense of ownership over assigned project deliverables.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and interest in clinical data visualization tools.
- Ability to work independently and translate academic theories into clinical trial applications.

- Compensation: Paid position with a pay range of $28 to $32 per hour.
