About the role#
Keros Therapeutics is hiring a Research Associate Co-Op for a 6-month position within the preclinical research group. You will join the cardiopulmonary and bone team to assist in the discovery and development of therapies for bone and cardiovascular diseases. This role provides hands-on experience in both in vivo and ex vivo research.
What you'll do#
- Support in vivo studies, including animal handling, dosing (IP, IV, SC, PO), necropsy, and tissue collection.
- Perform molecular biology techniques such as RNA isolation, qPCR, Western Blot, and ELISA.
- Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures and results in laboratory notebooks.
- Contribute to experimental planning and data interpretation during team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program majoring in biology, physiology, biochemistry, or related fields.
- Experience or a willingness to work with rodents, including handling and dosing.
- Familiarity with molecular biology techniques like RNA isolation, qPCR, Western Blot, and ELISA.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
