About the role#
Kennedy Jenks is seeking a Construction Management Intern to join our 2027 Kickstart Internship Program in Phoenix. This role supports project teams working on water resources, wastewater, and industrial sector projects. You will gain hands-on experience through mentorship, professional development, and collaboration on active projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform field work, including field verification and confirming as-built conditions, while documenting your findings with notes and photos.
- Prepare technical reports and perform calculations.
- Assist with the preparation and interpretation of construction plans and specifications.
- Monitor communications between contractors, owners, and engineers.
- Attend project meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting minutes.
- Interact with clients, designers, and inspectors to support project activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Completion of at least two years of qualified study.
- Experience with GIS or CAD is preferred.
