About the role#
The Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation Program internship focuses on the behavioral and emotional needs of young children. Interns gain experience by partnering with childcare professionals and supporting families and children with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs. This role involves clinical supervision from licensed staff to support degree completion and professional growth.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program or higher in mental health or social work.
- A clinical interest in working with children and adolescents.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment is preferred.
- Ability to pass background and driving record checks.
