About the role#
Justice Resource Institute is seeking a BA Level Intern to join our Community Based Services division in Fall River. You will support youth and families through a team-based approach, focusing on behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs in home, school, and community settings. This position offers supervision from licensed staff to support your clinical growth and degree completion.
What you'll do#
- Learn to use clinical interventions to support youth in social and educational settings.
- Explore clinical knowledge through evidence-based modalities.
- Strengthen documentation skills and gain experience with electronic medical records.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support children and families.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program or higher in mental health, social work, or a human service field.
- A strong interest in working with children and adolescents.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed models of treatment is preferred.
- Ability to pass background and driving record checks.
