About the role#
Justice Resource Institute (JRI) is seeking an intern for its Community Based Services division. This role supports children and families with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs. Interns will work within a team-based approach to provide strength-based, individualized, and culturally competent services in the community. Supervision is provided by licensed staff to support clinical growth and degree requirements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Master’s degree program or higher in a mental health field (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT).
- A clinical interest in working with children and adolescents.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed models of treatment is preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to pass background and driving record checks.
