About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship for students interested in retail leadership. You will join the Furnish Your Future Intern Development Program to learn how to manage a retail business. You will work alongside store managers and leadership teams to understand the daily operations of our showrooms.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on exposure to retail operations, including customer experience, team development, sales performance, staffing, and business execution.
- Perform necessary retail management tasks.
- Participate in professional development workshops.
- Network with company leaders through Intern Insights.
- Visit various retail store locations throughout New England.
What you'll need#
- Currently a rising college junior or senior.
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Retail, or a related field.
- Interest in developing leadership and people management skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated work style.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to problem solve and think critically.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful.
Location & details#
- Location: Avon, Massachusetts.
- Term: Summer 2027 (starts June 7).
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, including some weekend shifts.
- Pay: $23.00 per hour.
