About the role#
As a Process Engineer Summer Intern, you will join the team in Jacksonville, Florida, for the summer of 2027. This position offers hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment. You will work on projects that build your analytical and project management skills while collaborating across departments. The role requires full-time, on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Collect and analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement activities.
- Supervise key operational performance indicators.
- Report results against established business goals and objectives.
- Participate in the design, development, manufacturing, and commercialization of new products or modifications to existing ones.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or materials engineering (or a related field).
- Completion of at least one year of school by the start of the internship.
- A minimum GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Ability to balance multiple projects and work independently as a self-starter.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for future visa sponsorship.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as participation in campus or community service activities, are preferred.
