About the role#
This internship provides practical experience within the oil and gas industry. You will work alongside experienced engineers to gain insight into daily operations and project execution. This is a full-time, paid position based in Houston.
What you'll do#
- Support experienced engineers with their daily assignments.
- Shadow actual operations to learn how engineering projects function in the field.
- Assist in the preparation of design drawings, specifications, calculations, and visual aids.
- Collect and enter data while applying technical principles to help interpret and analyze results.
- Complete unique assignments that contribute to ongoing projects.
- Handle miscellaneous tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program for Civil, Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical engineering.
- Completion of at least 2 years of engineering coursework.
- A preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Familiarity with engineering modeling software such as CAD or SolidWorks.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage your time and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to work in a changing environment.
