About the role#
CAM Integrated Solutions is looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team in Houston. You will work under the mentorship of senior engineers to gain experience in power system design, project documentation, and field applications.
What you'll do#
- Draft single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and basic load calculations.
- Help prepare engineering deliverables and vendor documentation.
- Learn to use industry tools like ETAP, SKM, and AutoCAD.
- Shadow engineers during design reviews, site walk-downs, and project meetings.
- Research NEC, IEEE, and NFPA standards to support design compliance.
- Perform data entry, QA/QC checks, and organize project files.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program for Electrical Engineering, ideally from an ABET-accredited school.
- A solid academic background in circuits, power systems, or controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Previous exposure to AutoCAD or ETAP is a plus.

- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
- The position follows a rolling term.
