About the role#
This Co-Op position is based in Warsaw, Indiana, within the orthopedics division. You will work with the Commercialized Product Development team, which focuses on sustaining joint reconstruction prosthetics like knees, hips, and shoulders. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Apply engineering analysis methods, design tools, and problem-solving to resolve engineering questions and investigations.
- Complete assessments of development and design documentation.
- Understand the design control process, including risk identification and testing requirements.
- Observe manufacturing facility operations and provide development engineering support for improvement projects.
- Interface with expert engineers and cross-functional business partners.
What you'll need#
- Completion of your freshman year at an accredited university.
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Reliable transportation to the Warsaw, Indiana site.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for future visa sponsorship.
