    About the role#

    This is an entry-level engineering position within the HVAC systems and applications development team. You will work alongside experienced engineers to develop equipment controls, building automation systems, and smart building products. This role focuses on applying and enhancing your engineering skills while supporting the development of tools and applications for the Global Products business.

    What you'll do#

    • Learn the system components and requirements of our Global Products business.
    • Design, build, and set up automated test configurations to execute test plans.
    • Assist the development team with troubleshooting defects.
    • Work on small projects that support the development, simulation, and emulation of products.
    • Work under the close direction of experienced engineers.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a B.S. program for Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering at an accredited university.
    • Basic software coding skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
    • Demonstrated ability to overcome barriers and deliver results.
    • Experience with Matlab, Simulink, or Microsoft Excel is preferred.
    • Prior internship experience is a plus but not required.

    • Location: Glendale, Wisconsin.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Schedule: Ability to work at least 12 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week during the summer.
    • Employment Type: Full time, paid internship.
