About the role#
This internship provides hands-on training and development for individuals pursuing a career in commercial and industrial electrical systems. You will work alongside experienced electricians to gain practical skills in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting while supporting facility management teams. This role offers a structured learning path covering electrical systems, safety protocols, and code compliance.
What you'll do#
- Learn to use testing equipment such as multimeters, ammeters, and voltage testers.
- Assist with inspecting, testing, and maintaining electrical distribution systems.
- Help install and maintain building electrical systems, including lighting fixtures and control panels.
- Document electrical work performed, materials used, and system modifications.
- Attend regular safety training and strictly adhere to safety protocols.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed education in electrical technology, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude.
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and safety practices.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
